What’s Summer Course?
What’s Summer Course?Why don’t you have a special summer with us at Tokyo International Japanese School?
Summer course is held in July and August every year. You will study Japanese in the morning and many activities in the afternoon. Students from all over the world take part in it and it is very lively. You will gain more insight on Japan as studying not only the language but also Japanese culture through the cultural class held in our school. About 200 students participate in the summer course.

You can improve your Japanese skills even in the short term at our school which has more than 35 years' history. Our summer course is the one of the most chosen summer course in Japan. Every year, we have the students who have participated in before. Enjoy your summer in Shinjuku, the center of Tokyo.

Our summer course is animated thanks to the students from all over the world. The environment in which you can study with your classmate from different countries is as much precious as improving your Japanese skill. You can make friends beyond the border of class through the activities after class.

It is possible to introduce many dormitories through the school.
From short-term stay to long-term stay, single room / double room etc, you can choose the accommodation in Tokyo according to your wishes.
Activities
Activities
You can learn not only Japanese but also Japanese culture through activities during summer course.
We organise cultural events as a part of class lessons, such as Kimono and Yukata lesson, tea ceremony, calligraphy, and Japanese traditional plays. Also Bon dance, bus trip, No and Kabuki, watching baseball games, Onsen and Interaction with Japanese uni students are conducted out of class.
